There are four general ways to advertise online and each come with a unique set of rules that require a specific approach to staying compliant. This session by law-abiding mortgage originator Steve Lines will provide you with the clarity needed to avoid fines, losing your license and even getting thrown in jail. Stay on the right side of the law and know the rules for Websites, Social Networks, Email Marketing and Online Classified Advertisements (ex. Craigslist). This session will provide information on local and federal rules and regulations pertaining to advertising mortgages online and will cover areas such as: trade and commerce law, SAFE Act,  HUD regulations, fraud and spam.
